Bedrooms and berths
Need we remind you of the benefits of transportation that lets you
sleep during the journey? Travelling at night, for business or pleasure,
can be a sure way to gain time, because you then have full days to
prepare, take care of business or enjoy yourself. Travelling long-haul?
A good night's sleep will help you make the most of the next day's
pleasures.
So that you can sleep
well, we provide comfortable bedrooms (or semi-private berths for
those on a budget). Please note that availability may vary depending
on the region and the types of cars in service.

Bay day your bedroom becomes a snug sitting room with comfortable
sitting chairs in bedrooms and inward facing seats on semi-private
sleepers.
Bedrooms in our
classic stainless steel cars
In our stainless steel sleeping cars, you are spoilt from the moment
you board the train. Your porter is always nearby to assist and will
take care of bedding and dinner arrangements
You'll sleep in a comfortable,
stainless steel car bedroom aboard the Canadian in Silver & Blue
class (between Toronto and Vancouver), aboard the Hudson Bay in Sleeper
class (between Winnipeg and Churchill) and in Comfort sleeper class
on the Chaleur (between Montréal and Gaspé). In Comfort
sleeper and Easterly classes on the Ocean (running between Montréal
and Halifax), stainless steel cars alternate with Renaissance cars.
Bedrooms aboard
the new Renaissance cars (Eastern Canada) are both elegant
and functional, Renaissance sleeping cars are a fine example of European
design.
You can use one of these
bedrooms at all times in Easterly class aboard the Ocean between Montréal
and Halifax whenever Renaissance cars are in service.
