Take a ride on the rails through British Columbia's most spectacular scenery. See lush forests, crystal clear lakes and untouched wilderness before heading into the Rocky Mountains. Once there, explore mountain passes and enjoy the scenery!

DAY 1 Vancouver
Transfer on your own to your Vancouver hotel.

DAY 2 Whistler
Today, board Rocky Mountaineer on the Coast Classic for your journey to Whistler. The train travels through some of the most beautiful country in the world. On your way to Whistler, you will be served breakfast at your seat as you enjoy the view of the Pacific Coast.

DAY 3 & 4 Quesnel / Jasper
On Day 3 board Rocky Mountaineer for your continuing journey to Quesnel. Today's journey will take you to the heart of interior British Columbia. Pass by 100 Mile House that is located on the "Old Cariboo Gold Rush Trail" in South Cariboo and boasts a diversity of landscapes. You will travel though areas that are not on a road map. Breakfast and lunch are served to you at your seat. Upon arrival in Quesnel, transfer (included) to your hotel. On Day 4 re-board Rocky Mountaineer for your continuing journey to Jasper. Your route today follows the famous Fraser River. Enjoy breakfast and lunch served at your seat (included). Keep your eyes open for grizzly bear, moose, beaver and osprey! Crossing into the Province of Alberta, you will arrive by late afternoon in the peaceful alpine town of Jasper

DAY 5 Jasper
Depart on a tour of Jasper with the Maligne Lake Coach & Cruise Excursion (seasonal*). Cruise past mountain ranges to Spirit Island, named after a New Yorker who was mystified by the prisitine beauty of the place.

DAY 6 Banff
Venture southward along one of the most scenic highways in the world. The Icefield Parkway is highlighted by frequent wildlife sightings, glacier-fed lakes, waterfalls and broad-reaching valleys that meet majestic peaks. At the Columbia Icefield, an opportunity to tour the Athabasca Glacier on board one of Brewster's environmentally-sensitive Ice Explorers awaits (included). From the Icefield Centre, continue your journey along the Parkway to Lake Louise and Banff.

DAY 7 Banff
A morning Brewster 'Discover Banff' guided excursion is highlighted with a trip to the Cave & Basin National Historic Site and a ride up Sulphur Mountain on a Banff Gondola. This afternoon you'll travel by horseback on a trail ride that includes a cook-out.

DAY 8 Calgary
A morning check out concludes your Canadian Rockies Highlights vacation.

*When day tours or attractions are not operational in the off-season, the price will be adjusted or there will an alternative excursion/attraction made available.
