The Great route from Vancouver. See the majesty of the mighty Canadian Rocky Mountains including Jasper and Banff, and then continue to the capital of Alberta, Edmonton!

DAY 1 Vancouver Airport to Prince Rupert
Upon arrival in Vancouver, you will transfer on your own (not included) to the South Terminal of the Vancouver Airport to board your flight for Prince Rupert. When you arrive into the Prince Rupert, you will board a bus for the ferry ride to downtown and then take a taxi on your own to your hotel (transfer, ferry and taxi are not included).

DAY 2 Prince Rupert
A short boat tour around the Prince Rupert area by boat will give you an overview of the many activities that you can take part in today. Highlights of you tour will include WWII military installations, reversing tidal rapids at Butze Rapids and Zanardi Rapids, Seal Cove Coast Guard Base and it is quite possible that you may see wildlife such as porpoise, harbour seals or eagles. The rest of your day is yours to explore on your own or book an optional wildlife viewing tour or fishing excursion.

DAY 3 'VIA Rail' to Prince George
Transfer by taxi this morning to the railway station (transfer included). Here you will board the 'VIA Rail's' Skeena with Totem service which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner onboard. Arrive in Prince George in the evening and transfer to your hotel (taxi transfer included).

DAY 4 'VIA Rail' to Jasper
After re-board 'VIA Rail's' Skeena train where breakfast and lunch are included onboard. Arrive in the early afternoon, and transfer by taxi to you hotel (transfers included).

DAY 5 Banff
Today you will drive to Banff via Canada's most spectacular mountain highway - the Icefields Parkway. A ride on a Brewster Ice Explorer on the Athabasca Glacier (April 15 - October 15). After a brief stop at Lake Louise, you will continue on to beautiful Banff for an early evening arrival. Begin a two-night stay in Banff.

DAY 6 Banff
This morning join a Discover Banff Excursion. Visit the Cave & Basin National Historic Site and your final stop is at the Banff Gondola for a 360 degree look at Banff and the Bow Valley.

DAY 7 Calgary
Transfer by Brewster scheduled airporter service to Calgary International Airport to end your Skeena & Rockies vacation.
