DAY 1 VIA Rail's 'The Canadian'
This evening transfer on your own to Vancouver's vintage rail station, where you'll board VIA Rail's 'Silver & Blue' (dinner onboard). Travel through lush farmlands of the Fraser Valley before entering the narrow gorge of the Fraser Canyon. Continue through the rolling ranch country of B.C.'s Interior Plateau as the train follows the North Thompson River to Kamloops and enters the majestic Rocky Mountains.

DAY 2 Jasper
Arriving in the alpine townsite of Jasper this afternoon, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the remainder of the day to relax and explore.

DAY 3 Banff
The spectacular Icefields Parkway awaits! Board our luxury motorcoach and journey along one of Canada's most scenic routes, including a stop at the Columbia Icefield Interpretive Centre, where you will board an all-terrain Ice Explorer and venture onto the living Athabasca Glacier (lunch not included). Continue your journey with a brief stop at Lake Louise, on to the bustling resort town of Banff.

DAY 4 Banff
Discover Banff with a morning sightseeing excursion of local scenic highlights including a visit to the Cave & Basin National Historic Site. Your final stop will be at the Banff Gondola for a ride up Sulphur Mountain. The rest of the afternoon is yours to wander the unique shops and restaurants available within the townsite.

DAY 5 Kamloops
This morning you will be transferred to the Banff rail station to begin the second rail portion of your journey with Rocky Mountaineer. You'll travel the historic and incredible Canadian Pacific rail route through Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and Rogers Pass, arriving in Kamloops early in the evening (breakfast and lunch onboard).

DAY 6 Vancouver
Reboard the Rocky Mountaineer to complete your circle tour, travelling back along the Fraser Canyon and into Vancouver (breakfast and lunch included onboard).

DAY 7 Vancouver
A morning check-out from your hotel completes your Explorers Circle vacation.
