paced with two- night stays in Banff National Park, Jasper National
Park and Victoria, which gives us ample time to see the city
on an orientation tour and explore the beautiful Butchart Gardens.

1 ARRIVE VANCOUVER
Welcome
to Vancouver! A complimentary transfer between the airport and
the tour hotel is provided. We meet our Tour Director at the

2 VANCOUVER – SUNSHINE COAST
Today
we enjoy the sheltered beauty of British Columbia's Sunshine
Coast as we cruise through Howe Sound and Jervis Inlet to Saltery
Bay. Now it's on to our hotel in the former fishing and logging
town of Lund on the shores of Desolation Sound. Tonight, join
your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome drink
and highlight dinner cruise on these incredible waterways. Hotel:

DAY
3 SUNSHINE COAST – VICTORIA
More
incredible scenery today as we sail across the Strait of Georgia
to Vancouver Island. We travel along the eastern shore, via
Nanaimo and Chemainus, to visit fabulous Butchart Gardens. After
some time amidst the floral displays, we continue to our hotel
in Victoria. Tonight, we enjoy dinner at one of Victoria's great
restaurants. Hotel: Marriott Inner Harbour. (Full Breakfast,
Highlight Dinner)
DAY
4 VICTORIA SIGHTSEEING
On
this morning's orientation tour of Victoria we see the British
Columbia Legislature building alongside the Inner Harbour, bustling
Government Street, Market Square and Beacon Hill Park. We also
visit the award-winning Royal British Columbia Museum. The rest
of the day is at leisure to explore at our own pace. (Full Breakfast)
DAY
5 VICTORIA – KELOWNA
We
return to the mainland and follow the Fraser River eastwards
over the Coast Mountains into the Okanagan Valley. There is
a stop to taste the wines produced locally at one of Canada's
premier wineries. After dinner, why not take a stroll along
the shores of Lake Okanagan? Hotel: Coast Capri Hotel. (Full
Breakfast, 3 or 4-course or buffet- style Dinner with menu choices)
DAY
6 KELOWNA – YOHO NATIONAL PARK
We
climb into British Columbia's majestic mountains, past Mt Revelstoke
and Glacier National Parks, to Yoho National Park. We see the
Natural Bridge, Spiral Tunnels, Takakkaw Falls (weather permitting)
and the Continental Divide. Our beautiful and historic hotel
is located right alongside the lake, in a stunning alpine setting.

buffet- style Dinner with menu choices)
DAY
7 YOHO N. P. – BANFF NATIONAL PARK
We
cross Kicking Horse Pass to enter Alberta and Banff National
Park, gateway to the majestic Canadian Rockies. We stop at Lake
Louise, the emerald-coloured 'Gem of the Rockies'. Here an exhilarating
Premium Highlight takes us high up on the Sightseeing Gondola
for sweeping views over the lake, Victoria Glacier and a relaxing
lunch. We stay for the next two nights nestled amongst gorgeous
peaks at the baronial Fairmont Banff Springs. Hotel: Fairmont
Banff Springs. (Full Breakfast, Lunch, 3 or 4-course or buffet-style

8 BANFF AT LEISURE
Today
is entirely free to enjoy the resort's amenities or venture
into Banff village for shopping. Why not take an optional helicopter
ride over the surrounding peaks or ride the gondola to the top
of Sulphur Mountain? (Full Breakfast)

9 BANFF N.P. – JASPER NATIONAL PARK
Trailing
the backbone of the Canadian Rockies, the Icefields Parkway
is one of the world's most spectacular drives. Keep an eye out
for bear, deer and moose as we wind between the snow-domed peaks,
cascading waterfalls, spectacular lakes and immense glaciers.
En route we step aboard a specially designed 'Ice Explorer'
to venture onto the Athabasca Glacier, part of the Columbia
Icefields, the largest mass of ice outside of the Arctic Circle.
We continue north through Sunwapta Pass, to our hotel in the
mountain wonderland of Jasper National Park. Hotel: Sawridge
Inn. (Full Breakfast, 3 or 4-course or buffet-style Dinner with
menu choices)
DAY
10 DISCOVER JASPER NATIONAL PARK
Today
is devoted to the delights of Jasper National Park. We admire
the amazing effects of erosion at Maligne Canyon and marvel
at the still azure waters of Maligne Lake. The rest of the day
is at leisure. There are many optional activities including
biking, golfing, hiking, and a popular river float trip down
the Jasper River. (Full Breakfast)

11 VIA RAIL/ROCKY MOUNTAINEER TRAIN
Today,
Insight gives you a unique and exclusive choice: a two-day/one-
night journey through superb mountain scenery to Vancouver aboard
your choice of train - VIA Rail's 'The Canadian' or the 'Rocky
Mountaineer'. Meals and sleeping arrangements vary today according
to your choice of train - ask for details at time of booking.

12 ARRIVE VANCOUVER
Meals
and arrival times into Vancouver vary today according to your
choice of train. The Rocky Mountaineer arrives late afternoon
while VIA Rail's 'The Canadian' arrives early morning and includes
a Vancouver city sightseeing tour en route to the hotel - ask
for details at time of booking. Tonight, we walk across the
famous suspension bridge, for a rainforest experience at the
unique Treetops Adventure followed by a delicious BBQ dinner.
